With Iranian film ‘I’m Scared’ wrapping up editing, the flick gears up for premiere at international fest.
Written, directed, and produced by Behzadi, the film began shooting last fall with a premiere at an int'l film festival yet to be announced.
Hamid-Reza Lavafi who previously worked with Behzadi in his 2008 film ‘We Only Live Twice’ has earlier completed the editing for ‘I’m Scared’.
A description of Behzadi’s feature film reads, “The bad part is that I’m filled with doubts on whether I want to leave or not… What’s worse is I’m 100% sure that I can’t stay.”
Stars in the film include Amir Jafari, Elnaz Shakerdoust, Setareh Pesyani, Mehran Ahmadi, Payam Yazdani, Majid Jafari, and Yeganeh Raftari.
Winner of the Fajr Film Festival’s Best Screenplay award for his 2013 film ‘The Rules of Accident’, Behzadi has managed to get his films into various international film festivals, including Australia’s Asia Pacific Screen Awards as well as India’s Jaipur International Film Festival.
